Energy Infrastructure and Regional Analyst

This position will support Minnesota's energy advocacy across state, regional, and national forums.  Within the state, you will analyze proposals for transmission and other major energy infrastructure projects and draft recommendations for the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission based on technical analysis.  Regionally and nationally, you will track developments in markets, reliability, and transmission planning at organizations such as the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), Southwest Power Pool (SPP), North American Electric Reliability (NERC), and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and help build the state's positions before those bodies. Legislative Liaison

Cap-and-Invest Electricity/Clean Energy Siting Specialist (Environmental Planner 4)

Field Investigator (Analyst III)

Attorney III

State Energy Strategy Project Lead

This position works within the Energy Policy team of the Energy Division. This position is the project lead responsible for supporting the development of the next State Energy Strategy in accordance with RCW 42.21F.088 and RCW 42.21F.090. The State Energy Strategy is published every eight years, delivered to the Governor and the Legislature, and provides Washington’s roadmap for meeting climate and clean energy goals while prioritizing reliability and affordability. It is relied upon by legislators, state agencies, utilities, advocates, and many others as the state’s foundational planning document. Manager of Federal Government Affairs - DC Office

The Manager of Federal Government Affairs is responsible for the full portfolio of federal legislative, regulatory and policy issues affecting ASHRAE. This individual will be responsible for preparing summaries of these federal issues for ASHRAE members and other audiences, drafting statements and supporting information that could be used for education and advocacy purposes (e.g., letters, testimony, fact sheets, talking points, presentations), and managing federal government affairs information on the ASHRAE website.
