New Construction Trainer - Remote
Performance Systems Development (PSD)

PSD is seeking a New Construction Trainer/ QAD. This position provides the opportunity to improve energy efficiency in new homes by teaching individuals about home energy rating, building science, and compliance programs such as ENERGY STAR. This individual will also have the opportunity to contribute to the technical support of our RESNET Provider group. PSD is looking for applicants with a strong knowledge of, or background to quickly learn, residential energy, RESNET Standards, ENERGY STAR New Homes Program, and appliance standards. A successful applicant will have the skills to communicate new homes energy information and building science concepts to students, design professionals, builders, contractors, and energy professionals. Under the supervision of the manager of provider services, the trainer will deliver, and support the delivery of, residential training classes such as RESNET HERS Rater Training, ENERGY STAR Certified Home and ENERGY STAR Multifamily. This individual will also work on developing curriculum, creating presentations, providing technical assistance, and promoting program events and services by working with a marketing coordinator. If not already certified, this individual will also need to obtain the RESNET QAD certification to provide Field and File quality assurance for our rater group. Data collection will be part of two U.S. Department of Energy funded energy efficiency field studies. Associate Director, Solar for All

The Associate Director of Colorado Solar For All will help develop, lead, and manage the Colorado Energy Office’s Solar for All (COS4A) program. Colorado’s awarded Solar for All proposal is a complex set of program offerings, financial tools, workforce development, and community engagement initiatives. Given the short planning period of six months and overall program period of five years, the Associate Director will be critical in helping the Director hire and organize a dynamic team while coordinating closely with other Colorado Energy Office units and a variety of stakeholders including industry, local governments, utilities, and community-based organizations.
